Guardianship Services are provided on an as-needed basis for persons 60 years of age or older, who have no other responsible party to help with managing their personal and/or financial needs, are declared incapacitated by the court, and for whom Blair Senior Services, Inc. has been appointed by the court to act as guardian of person, estate or both.

  
     
  Legal  
 

Blair Senior Services provides the preparation of Powers of Attorney and Wills by an attorney for Agency authorized consumers. 

A durable Power of Attorney is a specific document in which a competent individual, prior to his or her incapacitation, names another to act on his or her behalf if at such time as that individual becomes unable to manage his or her own affairs. 

A Will is a basic legal document that a person uses to protect, care for and provide for their loved ones in the event of one’s death.  In this document, you can give important instructions regarding how your property should be distributed after your death, who will care for your children and other loved ones, and who will be in charge of finalizing your affairs.

The Ombudsman program investigates and mediates complaints related to the health, safety and rights of older individuals who are consumers of long-term care services.

Power of Attorney Services are provided on an as-needed basis for persons 60 years of age or older, who have no other responsible party to help with managing their personal and/or financial needs, are capable of appointing an agent to act in this capacity and choose Blair Senior Services, Inc. to act on their behalf.
