Blair Senior Services, Inc., a non-profit Area Agency on Aging, is seeking qualified applicants for a part time position that will provide administrative support based out of our Altoona office. We are an established, stable Agency with a professional work environment and a family-friendly culture.
This position will complete a range of clerical functions including telephone support, customer service, data entry and general office assistance. The selected individual should have attention to detail, ability to work at a steady pace using established guidelines and procedures and should be comfortable working under close supervision within a stable and secure team. The successful candidate must be people oriented and patient while maintaining a friendly and cooperative disposition.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent with three years of relevant experience. Excellent verbal, written and telephone communication skills, proofreading skills, advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, access to a vehicle and a valid PA driver’s license are required.
The starting hourly wage will be $10.12. We offer an excellent benefit package that includes a generous amount of paid time off available immediately upon hire, and a retirement plan with an annual contribution rate of 7.5% beginning on the first anniversary date.
