Leona Mills Banana Bread recipe:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, grease tins using shortening!
Beat 2 eggs – Add 2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. vegetable oil – Beat again!
2-3 “Ripe” bananas – mash good!
Then add to batter – beat 1-2 minutes!
Add to mix – 1 3/4 cups flour
2 Tsp. Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp. Baking Soda
Using:
Small tins – 35-40 mins (5 or 6)
Large tins – 45-50 mins (3)
They brown lightly – stab (gently) breads to see if done!
Cool on racks!
